Randy White and wife Ana Ruth have four grandchildren in NC and a fifth on the way in Kansas City where they live. Randy retired from Lucent Technologies (AT&T) and is now a self-employed consultant in information technology project management.1969

John May writes "I still live in Winston Salem with my wife Connie. Connie is active in our church youth mission trips as well as training our English Shepard dogs in agility competition (5 blue ribbons so far). I have 2 sons. William (15) attended Summit for the 6th thru 8th grade before receiving an Honors Scholarship to The McCallie School in Chatanooga. Joseph (18) is a graduating senior at McCallie and will be returning to Winston Salem next fall to attend Wake Forest University. I am an avid Demon Deacon fan and enjoy seeing Loma Hopkins at the WFU Basketball games. Has it really been 36 years since graduation from Summit??"1971

Seth Chandler writes, "looks like I'm permanently settled in Sweden -- my daughter, Amy Elizabeth Chandler, celebrated her first birthday in April. She's more delightful than I could possibly have imagined. This parent thing is not as tough as they told me it was when I was growing up! Well, not so far, anyway."
John Perkinson, who lives in Wilmington, NC, is a lead in a local production titled "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." When asked if he had played a lead role before, he responded, "yes, I played Father Skunk in a play at Summit School."1975

Will Chandler writes, "this past January, I was invited to head the education programs for Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY after being a Teaching Artist there for several years. I administer programs and continue to teach middle school and high school students how to write plays. Each term, one play is selected from each school to be staged here at Bay Street and directed by a professional theater Director. We also administer a series of classes for college students who work as interns here during the summer. Among other things, there is a series of Master Classes where discussions with students are led by master producers, writers, actors, set designers and other gifted artists of New York Theater. I also continue to write my own scripts, short stories and poetry.1978
Garth Dunklin of Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman in Charlotte passed a 3-day examination and expects to be sworn in to the South Carolina Bar Association this fall. He has been with Wishart Norris for five years and concentrates on real estate law.1980

Beth Mangum reports, "in July of 2005 I took the position of Director of Online for the TV network BBC America. The editorial and technical direction of BBCAmerica.com falls under my auspices. I really love what I'm doing! I continue to live and work in New York City, where I've been for the last 14 years. My parents are in Chapel Hill, retired and still traveling. I hope to hear from other Summit Alums as I've not been able to come to any of the reunions!"
Margaret McKinnon Gardner, who lives in Alexandria, VA, served as President of the Board of Trustees at her children's JrK-8th grade independent school. Margaret describes the school as "wonderful, and nearly as great as Summit."
Andy Rawson is a cinematographer and gaffer in Los Angeles, currently in his 6th season on the NBC medical comedy "Scrubs". His wife, Treasure is an animation producer at Disney and currently works on such shows as "Lilo & Stitch" and "Kim Possible". They have 2 daughters, Cameron and Ashleigh , 6 & 4 who go to Pinecrest School in Los Angeles.1983
Colleen McDonough Wordock lives in the D.C. area but "switched from the VA side to the MD side." She had her 3rd child, Henry Joseph on December 8, 2005. "Jack and Lucy adore their little brother."

Murray Kinlaw reports, "Shannon and I were married in March of 2004. We are now the proud parents of twins, Murray Carlyle Kinlaw IV (a boy) and Jewel Olivia Kinlaw (a girl), born on July 1, 2005."
David Keating writes, "our fourth child, Elizabeth, turned 1 year old this past April. Her sisters, Abigail (8), Anne Darby (6), and brother Henry (4) all love to help her walk around the house and yard!"
Richard Weller lives in Lakeland, FL. He shared these thoughts, "It is amazing the imprint that Summit leaves upon you. My wife, Tina, is an elementary teacher and I constantly find myself relating stories of my time at Summit to her. In all my travels since leaving Summit after 7th grade, no other school made the kind of impression on me that Summit did. As I am raising my own children, Kristen, 3 1/2, and Joanna, 1, I find myself wishing I were back living in Winston Salem so they could have the experiences I did."

Ian Mayville is a financial advisor in Boca Raton, FL. He and his wife had a baby on February 11, 2006, named Audrey Sharpe Mayville.
Baldwin Smith writes, "we just had our third baby. Riley Nathanael was born on June 7th. He weighed 9 pounds and 3 ozs. We've living in Oxford, MS now working with Campus Crusade at Ole Miss. We've loved this little town - kinda like Mayberry with a college. Ole Miss has been a great place to work, too."
Alex Galloway and his wife Tracey had their first child, a daughter named Lane Brewton Galloway. Lane was born 4/6/06, weighed 7lbs and was 20" long. Alex is in commercial real estate brokerage with The Shopping Center Group in Charlotte.
Lucinda Fox reports that she and husband, John Mancini, have two great kids: Leo, who turns 6 this fall, and Camilla, who is 3 1/2, and live in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago on Lake Michigan. After working together for 10 years building a software company, they recently sold it and are having fun spending more time with the kids, and looking forward to seeing what's next!1987

Safia Mohamoud graduated cum laude from Howard University in 2003. Upon graduating Howard, she spent a year in Toyama, Japan working with the Japan Exchange Teaching Program. She is currently a graduate student at Princeton Theological Seminary pursuing the Master of Divinity degree and student assisting at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York City. After graduating Princeton, Safia will join the State Department working full time in foreign policy.1997

Andrew Griffin is a junior biochemistry major at Washington and Lee where he was recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. This summer he will work with a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School where he will be involved with research in the pulmonary function lab. He will also spend time in the ICU at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He plans to attend medical school after graduation.2001
Michael Gordon finished his first year at Davidson College where he is pursuing a major in math. He is a member of Phi Gamma Delta, served on Student Government Assoc., and is one of 2 student members on the Academic Computing Committee. He also works part-time with Technical Services and ResNet.
Patrick Molitoris and 30 Brown University students recently completed the Bike and Build Program, a 3,800 mile, 11 week bicycle trip, from Providence, RI to Seattle working on Habitat houses.

John Hughes, a senior at Lawrenceville School, was a captain of the boys’ soccer team and selected to the M.A.P.L. conference First Team.
After a semester-long “battle” with five worthy competitors, Rachel McGowen, a senior at Forsyth Country Day School, was named Forsyth Country Day School’s first- ever Headmaster’s Laureate, earning a $1,000 stipend. Rachel’s final project, which secured her win, focused on the advancement of the arts at Forsyth Country Day School and provided both short-and long-term solutions to arts-related issues.
Sam French was inducted into the Cum Laude Society at Woodberry Forest.
Hollis Mickey earned a 3rd place prize at the Salem Academy Drama Works, an annual monologue competition. At graduation, she was awarded the Jess Byrd English Award, Faculty Award and a Service to Salem Award.
Edith Sangueza graduated from Salem Academy and was awarded the Elsie R. Nunn Math Award, Betty Clauset History Award and a Citizenship Honor.
Al-Sherre Johnson graduated from Salem Academy and will attend East Carolina University.2004
Wilson Douglas has completed his Eagle Scout project. The proceeds from donations and yard sale raised over $5,000 for the N.C Epilepsy Foundation.
Martha Elster, who attends Salem Academy, was awarded Citizenship Honor and Service to Salem.2005
Kimani Griffin made the USA Junior World Marathon Team in inline skating. The Outdoor Inline National Competition was held in Colorado Springs, CO. The USA World teams will travel to South Korea in late August for the World Inline Championships. Kimani also won the state champion for the sophomore boys division in indoor inline speed skating held early May in Hickory.
Margaret Douglas, who attends Madeira, will be an assistant head of house next year in West Dorm.
